Just last week I was told a story by a local small business owner who had tried to recruit to a specialist role.  They advertised widely and has just one application.  This was from a professional based in London who demanded an enormous relocation package.

One off or recurring pattern?

How do we make Leeds into a place where talented people want to come?

Do we need to do more to attract the ‘creative class’?

Or should we focus more on growing our own?
